Dr Tido von Schoen-Angerer

Born 1966 in Germany. Medical studies in Mainz (Germany) and Uppsala (Sweden). Specialty training in Pediatrics at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, New York. Master of Public Health in Health Systems Management from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.

14 years with Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders MSF in different field and head quarter positions. Worked or led MSF projects in Armenia, Zimbabwe, Thailand, Nigeria, Chad, Bangladesh, India and Indonesia. Executive director of the MSF Access Campaign in Geneva from 2006-2012. Received the Vienna "Crystal of Hope" award on behalf of MSF for achievements in HIV/AIDS in 2006.

Served in different WHO advisory groups. Member of the UNITAID Executive Board 2011-2014. Board member of Knowledge Ecology International (KEI) Europe.

Certified in Anthroposophic Medicine from the University of Witten/Herdecke (Germany). Introduction of anthroposophic medicine in the pediatric department of Fribourg Hospital (Switzerland), beginning in 2014. Researcher with focus on case reports at the ARCIM Institute (Academic Research in Complementary and Integrative Medicine), Filderklinik, Germany since 2013. Anthroposophic pediatric practice in Geneva since 2015.

Member of the IVAA board since 2016.
