Care Settings

Anthroposophic medicine is incorporated into many different care settings, including hospitals and acute care as well as rehabilitation centres, private medical clinics, and multi-disciplinary out-patient clinics known as “Therapeutikum,” among others.

These care settings incorporate anthroposophic principles, including establishment of an empathetic relationship between doctor and patient and through understanding of the patient’s biography, including physical, social and lifestyle factors.

The following hospitals and rehabilitation centers integrate anthroposophic medicine in some or all of their departments. To find a local anthroposophic doctor, contact one of our member organizations.
